Compassionate Counseling St. Louis uses Feedback Informed Treatment to help St. Louis kids

When you bring your child to counseling because they are experiencing big emotions like anxiety or anger, you want to make sure they are getting focused and effective treatment. At Compassionate Counseling St. Louis, we use Feedback Informed Treatment methods to ensure that treatment is moving toward the goals that have been set.

Every week that your child comes to counseling, we use 2 assessments: the Outcomes Rating Scale (ORS) and Session Rating Scale (SRS). These two scales help our therapists at Compassionate Counseling St. Louis track progress and ensure your child is engaged in treatment. We track these scores weekly to make sure that what is going on in therapy is helpful and that your child is feeling respected and understood.

This means that we're not just following a set procedure, we're actively collaborating with you and your child to create a treatment plan that is made just for your child.

Feedback Informed Treatment keeps kids in St. Louis moving forward.

Since we track these scores each week, we are able to see if things aren’t improving like we expect them to improve. If we find that something isn’t working, then we adjust immediately. It is our top priority at Compassionate Counseling St. Louis to make sure that we are meeting your child where they are and are helping them move towards their treatment goals.

The ORS and SRS let us track not only how your child's therapy is going, but also how we are doing overall for all of our clients. In the past five years, 91% of our clients have seen improvements in their Outcome Rating scores and 82% have surpassed their treatment goals.

It is very important to our therapists at Compassionate Counseling St. Louis to personalize our sessions to your child and their unique needs and because of this, we have a high success rate with our clients.

Many of the clients at Compassionate Counseling St. Louis meet their goals in 12 sessions or less!
